Glock designed the G45 as a “crossover” pistol, pairing a 4.02-inch compact slide with a full-size grip for maximum shootability without excess length. This Gen5 variant benefits from the Glock Marksman Barrel, which uses a revised crown and polygonal rifling to tighten groups and ease cleaning.
The factory MOS (Modular Optic System) cut lets you mount popular red-dot optics using the included adapter plate, while forward and rear slide serrations provide secure press checks from any angle. An ambidextrous slide-stop lever and reversible magazine release accommodate both right- and left-handed shooters.
Gen5 frame upgrades include a flared magazine well for quicker reloads, the omission of finger grooves for a universal grip, and interchangeable backstraps to fine-tune trigger reach. The Safe-Action system maintains Glock’s consistent 5.5-lb trigger pull and triple passive safeties.
Finished inside and out with Glock’s nDLC coating, the slide and barrel resist corrosion and wear—even in demanding service environments. Proof marks on the frame confirm Austrian manufacture and U.S. import by Glock Inc. in Smyrna, Georgia.
