This Austrian-made example carries the enhanced Glock Marksman Barrel, a tougher nDLC slide finish, and practical upgrades like the flared mag-well and ambidextrous slide-stop lever. Matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame confirm factory integrity, and the pistol ships in its original Glock hard case with one 13-round magazine.

The Gen5 series deletes the earlier finger grooves and adds a subtle flare to the magazine well, speeding reloads without changing grip size. A reversible, oversize magazine release and ambidextrous slide-stop lever cater to both right- and left-handed shooters.
Glock’s Marksman Barrel features polygonal rifling and a recessed crown to improve accuracy and protect the muzzle. Combined with the 4.02 in steel barrel and striker-fired action, the G23 delivers duty-grade reliability in a compact footprint.
The nDLC matte-black slide finish resists corrosion and wear, while rear cocking serrations offer secure manipulation. Fixed polymer sights—white-dot front and white “U” outline rear—provide a clear sight picture; the 5.98 in sight radius aids practical accuracy.
This pistol is part of the 2024–2025 Austrian export production batch (serial prefix BXVG) and is among the first .40 S&W Glocks to adopt full Gen5 upgrades. It accepts standard 13-round magazines and is also compatible with full-size G22 mags for increased capacity.
