Winchester Model 101 Pigeon Grade Field 20 Gauge Over/Under, 26" Barrels, Coin-Finished Receiver
This Japanese-built Model 101 Pigeon Grade Field pairs Winchester’s classic over/under design with factory scroll engraving, a coin-finished receiver, and 26-inch vent-rib barrels chambered for 3-inch 20 gauge shells. Fixed Improved Cylinder chokes in both bores, a single selective trigger, and selective ejectors make this full-size gun an appealing choice for upland hunters and collectors who value original configuration and clean mechanical condition.

What’s Included
- Winchester Model 101 Pigeon Grade Field 20 Gauge over/under shotgun (serial PK-260661)
Built between 1974 and 1987, this PK-prefix Model 101 features Winchester Proof Steel barrels mated to a monoblock marked “IMP CYL * * * *” on both bores. The 26-inch tubes are topped with a vent rib carrying a recessed “PIGEON GRADE” panel and a steel front bead, giving a fast sight picture in the field.
The coin-finished receiver wears full scroll engraving with a prominent pigeon vignette and “WINCHESTER” banner. Winchester’s full-width cross-bolt locking system combines with a steel frame for lasting durability.
A single selective, inertia-powered trigger works in concert with tang-mounted manual safety and barrel selector. Selective ejectors throw spent shells clear while leaving unfired rounds in place.
Hand-cut 20-lpi checkering on the pistol-grip walnut stock, beavertail forearm with schnabel tip, and a Winchester red recoil pad provide secure handling and classic aesthetics. The 14.5-inch length of pull suits most adult shooters, and the gun balances well for quick second-barrel follow-up shots.
