IWI UZI Pro 9mm Pistol – 4.5" Threaded Barrel, Closed-Bolt Action, Limited U.S. Import
The IWI UZI Pro pistol is the modern evolution of Israel’s legendary UZI lineage. Built around a compact 4.5 inch cold-hammer-forged CrMoV barrel, this closed-bolt, straight-blowback 9mm offers improved accuracy, reduced felt recoil, and a triple safety system—all in a discontinued U.S. import model produced from 2015 to 2021. A glass-fiber-reinforced polymer lower trims weight, while full-length Picatinny rails and a non-reciprocating left-side charging handle bring the classic UZI platform solidly into the 21st century.

This UZI Pro retains the iconic profile shooters recognize, yet it incorporates a host of modern upgrades. The transition to a closed-bolt system improves inherent accuracy over earlier open-bolt variants, while the glass-fiber-reinforced polymer lower receiver reduces overall weight without sacrificing durability.
The 4.5 inch barrel is cold-hammer-forged for long service life and threaded 1/2-28 TPI, ready for muzzle devices compatible with that common pattern. Coupled with the standard push-button magazine release and finger-grooved polymer grip, the pistol offers intuitive controls and a comfortable shooting experience.
A full-length Picatinny top rail and lower accessory rail provide ample space for optics, lights, or lasers, allowing owners to tailor the platform to a wide array of roles. Flip-up polymer sights fold flat when not in use, clearing the sight line for mounted accessories.
Safety is addressed through a three-point system: a manual thumb safety, grip safety, and internal firing pin block. Together with the non-reciprocating left-side charging handle, this setup keeps hands clear of moving parts and enhances overall handling.
Now discontinued and with a limited production run, UZI Pro pistols have become increasingly desirable among shooters and collectors seeking the latest iteration of an iconic design.
