What’s Included
- FN Browning Auto-5 Standard Grade I 12 Gauge shotgun
Fabrique Nationale manufactured this Auto-5 during the first full post-war production run, as confirmed by serial number 288912. The receiver carries the FN crest and Belgian smokeless proof, underscoring its origin in Herstal.
The shotgun uses John Browning’s long-recoil operating system with a friction ring buffer, delivering reliable cycling of 2 3/4-inch shells. A magazine cut-off lever lets the shooter quickly swap loads without emptying the magazine, a hallmark feature of early Auto-5 models.
