The FX-9 4" pistol packs Freedom Ordnance’s flagship 9 mm blowback system into a compact, billet-aluminum package. Built around Glock-pattern magazines and familiar AR-15 controls, this current-production model combines a 4" black-nitride barrel with an integral faux suppressor shroud, a free-float M-LOK handguard, and an ambidextrous charging handle for fast, intuitive handling.

Freedom Ordnance machines the upper and lower from 7075-T6 billet aluminum, then finishes them with a Type III hard-anodized matte black coating for durability. An integral flared magwell speeds magazine changes while maintaining compatibility with double-stack Glock 9 mm magazines and preserving factory last-round hold-open.
The 4" 4150 steel barrel receives a black-nitride treatment for corrosion resistance and is capped with a 3" faux suppressor shroud that extends flush with the handguard for a sleek, continuous profile. The blowback action is tuned for 9 mm pressure, delivering reliable cycling in a compact format.
A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides mounting slots around the circumference and a full-length Picatinny top rail, giving ample real estate for optics and accessories despite the pistol’s small footprint.
