What’s Included
- Remington Model 870 Marine Magnum 12 Gauge shotgun
Remington applied electroless-nickel plating to both the exterior and interior steel parts of the Marine Magnum, protecting the action, barrel, and magazine tube from saltwater and harsh weather. This finish also gives the shotgun its distinctive matte silver appearance.
The 18-inch, fixed cylinder-bore barrel is optimized for buckshot and slug loads, while the extended magazine tube delivers a 6+1 shell capacity without increasing overall barrel length. A single steel bead front sight provides a simple, durable aiming point.
This gun predates later synthetic-stock versions and retains walnut furniture, including a corn-cob fore-end and ventilated recoil pad. A rear sling stud is installed on the stock for quick attachment of a carry sling.
The 870 action remains pump-smooth and dependable, featuring a cross-bolt safety and dual action bars. Chambers are cut for both 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch 12-gauge shells, letting the shooter choose between standard and magnum loads.
