HM Defense HM50B .50 BMG Bolt-Action Rifle | 29.25" Threaded Barrel, Adjustable Stock, Left-Side Bolt
The HM Defense HM50B brings .50 BMG power into a lighter, more maneuverable package. Built on a billet 7075-T6 aluminum receiver and free-float one-piece handguard, this first-generation 2025 model weighs just 29.5 lb unloaded—several pounds under many magazine-fed .50s. A patented HMB bolt with no transverse cam-pin hole, a match-grade 29.25" chrome-moly barrel, and a full-length Picatinny rail give long-range shooters a purpose-built platform that holds zero and manages recoil efficiently.

The left-side bolt handle with right-side ejection keeps the shooter’s sight picture intact and speeds follow-up shots. HM Defense’s patented HMB bolt eliminates the transverse cam-pin hole, reducing a known stress point for increased durability under .50 BMG pressures.
A 29.25" match-grade chrome-moly barrel is button-rifled with a 1:15 RH twist for accuracy with common 750-gr projectiles. The barrel is threaded 1"-14 TPI and fitted with a two-port radial muzzle brake that tames recoil and directs blast forward.
The rifle’s one-piece 14" free-float billet handguard integrates M-LOK slots and a continuous 1913 rail with roughly 36 slots, providing rock-solid optic and accessory mounting while protecting the barrel from contact.
An adjustable polymer stock offers length-of-pull and cheek-rest customization, while the single-stage target trigger delivers a crisp, consistent break. A manual safety selector and included Accu-Tac HD-50 bipod round out a setup ready for bench or field use.
