What’s Included
- Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight Field Grade 20 Ga shotgun with installed Cutts Compensator (Lyman adjustable choke sleeve)
Produced early in the post-war run, serial number 2314XX places this shotgun firmly in 1949. The receiver wears factory-cut flying-duck scroll engraving on both flanks, adding visual appeal without departing from the work-ready Field Grade configuration.
The installed Cutts Compensator with Lyman choke sleeve gives the 24" plain steel barrel on-the-fly choke adjustment, allowing quick changes from open to tight patterns without swapping tubes. A brass bead front sight tops the Lyman choke sleeve for a clear sight picture.
Ithaca’s bottom-eject, single-action-bar pump keeps hulls clear of your line of sight and makes the gun friendly to both right- and left-handed shooters. The action retains its original slam-fire capability for rapid follow-up shots when the trigger is held back.
Walnut furniture features pressed checkering on the pistol-grip buttstock and the corn-cob slide-handle. A hard butt-plate helps keep overall weight down while maintaining the Featherlight’s reputation for lively handling.
