The heart of this rifle is its 18-inch stainless steel barrel, threaded 5/8-24 and cut with 5R rifling to reduce bullet deformation and make cleaning easier. The 1:8 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 6.5 Grendel bullet weights, giving shooters flexibility for hunting or target applications.
A 15-inch free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard provides generous mounting space for accessories while keeping barrel harmonics undisturbed for better accuracy. The mid-length gas system helps moderate recoil impulse and parts wear, enhancing shooting comfort during longer strings of fire.
Both upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a hard-coat anodizing for durability. Standard AR-15 controls—including forward assist, dust cover, and a manual safety—ensure immediate familiarity for anyone accustomed to the platform.
The six-position collapsible stock and A2 polymer pistol grip allow quick adjustment to different shooters or shooting positions. Although the lower receiver is factory-marked “CAL 5.56 MM,” the barrel is correctly stamped “6.5 GRENDEL,” confirming the rifle’s true chambering.
