Designed for long-range precision with rapid portability, the DRD Tactical Kivaari is the first commercially available semi-auto .338 Lapua Magnum takedown rifle. Its patented cam-lock barrel system lets you break the rifle down into a compact package without tools, while the 24-inch heavy stainless barrel and match 2-stage trigger deliver sub-MOA performance. Fully ambidextrous controls, a non-reciprocating side-folding charging handle, and a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish round out a purpose-built platform for serious distance work.

The Kivaari stands out for its patented quick-change cam-lock barrel system (US 8,689,478), allowing users to remove or install the 24-inch barrel in seconds. This feature turns a full-size precision rifle into a compact package that fits neatly in its supplied hard case.
The heavy-profile, button-rifled stainless barrel is threaded 3/4x24 TPI for direct suppressor attachment. Combined with a 1:10 twist, it stabilizes the full range of .338 Lapua projectiles while maintaining repeatable point-of-impact when reinstalled.
Constructed from 7075-T6 billet aluminum, both upper and lower receivers, as well as the 17-inch free-float M-LOK handguard, wear a durable Flat Dark Earth Cerakote. A continuous 12-o’clock Picatinny rail provides ample real estate for optics and accessories.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety/selector, extended magazine release, and left-side non-reciprocating folding charging handle. The adjustable stock offers a 15.5-inch length of pull and an adjustable comb, letting shooters fine-tune their fit for prone or bench work.
A crisp 2-stage match trigger set at approximately 4.5 pounds supports precise shot breaks, and the rifle’s demonstrated sub-MOA capability underscores its long-range pedigree.
