Developed for the U.S. Army’s Modular Handgun System trials, the APX Combat retains the original APX A0 serialized chassis, allowing the grip frame to be swapped without affecting the firearm’s legal core. Ambidextrous slide-stop levers and a reversible magazine release support left- or right-handed shooters.
The carbon-steel barrel is chrome-lined for longevity and is factory-threaded 1/2-28 TPI, ready for suppressors or muzzle devices. Suppressor-height sights pair a red fiber-optic front with a drift-adjustable square-notch rear, giving a clear sight picture over mounted suppressors.
An optics-ready slide accepts micro red-dot sights via Beretta’s four-plate mounting system. Deep front and rear serrations provide positive purchase when manipulating the slide, even with gloves or under stress.
The glass-fiber reinforced polymer frame delivers a full-size grip and includes interchangeable backstraps to tailor fit. A 17+1 capacity, striker-fired trigger with safety tab, and internal firing-pin block round out a feature set aimed at duty-grade reliability.
This package adds practical value with three factory magazines and a rail-mounted light/laser, all secured in the original Beretta hard case.
