The Shield EZ series is built around a lighter recoil spring, allowing the slide to be racked with minimal effort while still cycling standard 9mm loads. Combined with magazine tabs that reduce thumb strain during loading, the pistol is designed for straightforward handling at every step.
This M2.0 variant adds an aggressive grip texture and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety. A grip safety, loaded-chamber indicator port, internal firing-pin block, and internal hammer system provide multiple layers of passive and manual security without complicating operation.
The 3.675" stainless-steel barrel and slide wear Smith & Wesson’s charcoal Armornite nitride finish for enhanced corrosion resistance. Forward and rear cocking serrations offer positive control during press checks or slide manipulation.
