The 2020 Python’s semi-bright stainless finish covers the barrel, frame, and six-shot cylinder for a cohesive, corrosion-resistant exterior. A pinned orange-ramp front sight can be swapped for different heights or styles, while the fully adjustable black rear sight allows precise elevation and windage changes.
Colt engineers increased the top-strap thickness by 30 percent, reinforcing the revolver for modern .357 Magnum pressures without altering the Python’s balanced feel. The recessed target crown protects rifling at the muzzle, promoting consistent accuracy.
