The heart of the TAC3 Duty is its 16" CMV steel barrel, cold-hammer-forged and chrome-lined for extended service life. A mid-length gas system and pinned low-profile gas block deliver smooth cycling, while the factory-installed three-prong flash hider preserves night vision and accepts common suppressor mounts.
Both upper and lower receivers are 7075-T6 forged aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish for exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. The 15" free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard features an anti-rotation interface and full-length Picatinny top rail, giving ample real estate for accessories without adding unnecessary weight.
FN equips the rifle with premium ambidextrous controls: a Radian Talon 45/90° selector and Radian Raptor-LT charging handle come standard, allowing effortless manipulation from either shoulder. The six-position stock includes a rubber buttpad, snag-free contours, a QD sling socket, and pairs with an FN-branded polymer pistol grip to complete a solid, ergonomic shooting platform.
