Engineered for discreet carry, the Glock 27 combines a 3.43-inch nitro-carburized barrel with a sub-compact polymer frame, delivering solid .40 S&W performance without unnecessary bulk. The Tenifer hardening process yields an approximate 64 HRC surface hardness and over 1,000 hours of salt-spray corrosion resistance, safeguarding the slide and barrel in harsh environments.
Polygonal rifling improves velocity retention and extends barrel life while maintaining the excellent accuracy Glock is known for. The loaded-chamber notch offers a quick visual status check, and rear slide serrations promote confident manipulation even with gloves.
The pistol’s 28 N (≈5.5 lb) trigger pull mirrors the feel of other Gen 3 models, ensuring a consistent break across the Glock lineup. Standard fixed polymer sights feature a white-dot front blade and notched rear for an uncomplicated sight picture.
Because the G27 is parts-interchangeable with the G22 and G23, owners can use higher-capacity magazines from those models, extending range time without sacrificing the pistol’s compact footprint for carry.
