What’s Included
- Ruger Red Label Engraved 20 Gauge over/under shotgun
- Two cylinder choke tubes
Introduced as the first widely affordable American-made over/under, the Ruger Red Label quickly earned a loyal following. This engraved example elevates the platform with an investment-cast stainless receiver featuring deep scroll work, gold upland-bird inlays, and a gold Ruger phoenix medallion.
The 26-inch barrels are hammer-forged from chrome-moly steel, finished in high-polish blue, and topped with a ventilated rib for quick target acquisition. A screw-in choke system offers flexibility; this shotgun ships with two cylinder chokes installed.
Ruger’s break-action design incorporates automatic ejectors, a single selective trigger, and a tang-mounted safety with integrated barrel selector. These features allow fast follow-up shots and straightforward operation in the field.
The American walnut stock and fore-end feature cut checkering for a secure grasp and a 14-inch length of pull that fits most shooters. A walnut-colored recoil plate helps manage 20-gauge recoil without adding bulk.
With its 3-inch chambers, this Red Label handles a broad range of modern 20-gauge loads, making it equally at home on upland birds, clays, or in the gun safe of a discerning collector.
