What’s Included
- Original case
- Holster
The DAO (double-action-only) mechanism teams with a bobbed hammer, eliminating snag points and streamlining the draw for concealed carry.
A 2-inch steel barrel with an integral ejector-rod shroud partners with the recessed, five-shot steel cylinder to manage +P .38 Special loads while keeping weight minimal.
The one-piece aluminum frame has no side plate, increasing structural rigidity and reducing parts count. Matte black anodizing on the frame contrasts subtly with the dark-gray steel cylinder for a unified, low-glare finish.
Fixed sights comprise a serrated ramp front and a square-notch groove milled into the top strap, delivering snag-free simplicity that stays on target at typical defensive distances.
Charter Arms machines every component in Shelton, Connecticut, continuing a lineage that began with the original 1965 Undercover revolver and maintaining full U.S. production.
