The second-generation M2.0 architecture features an extended stainless-steel chassis that improves rigidity for faster follow-up shots and long-term durability. A low bore axis works with the full-size grip to reduce muzzle rise and speed target re-acquisition.
Smith & Wesson’s bladed safety trigger offers a consistent pull with a tactile, audible reset and an over-travel stop for precise control. Internal safety systems include an internal striker block and the sear deactivation lever, allowing tool-less takedown without pulling the trigger.
Control versatility is built in: ambidextrous slide-stop levers come standard, and the magazine catch is reversible to suit left- or right-handed shooters. Four interchangeable backstraps let the shooter tailor grip circumference for optimal reach to the trigger.
The 4.25" stainless-steel barrel uses a 1:10" right-hand twist for reliable accuracy with modern 9mm loads, while the black Armornite nitride finish on both barrel and slide resists corrosion and wear. Steel 3-dot sights provide a clear, durable sight picture for defensive or range use.
