The Witness Elite Match is Tanfoglio’s single-action competition pistol built on the large-frame Witness platform. This full-size .45 ACP variant pairs a Wonder-finish hard-chrome steel frame with a matte-black slide, delivering a striking two-tone look and the rigidity serious shooters demand. A bull barrel with polygonal rifling, adjustable fiber-optic sight set, and a tuned trigger system give this Italian-made pistol the accuracy and control that IPSC and USPSA competitors expect. The Match variant is tuned at the factory for precise single-action only operation. A lightened trigger with adjustable over-travel stop shortens reset and breaks cleanly, giving the shooter fast follow-up capability.
The 4.75-inch bull barrel uses polygonal rifling for a tight gas seal and easier cleaning while maintaining excellent accuracy with jacketed .45 ACP loads. Its full-length dust cover adds mass up front, reducing muzzle rise.
Front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation under stress, while an extended thumb safety and extended magazine release accommodate competition-style, high-hand grips. A skeletonized hammer speeds lock time.
Bright red fiber-optic front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight provide a crisp sight picture in varied lighting. The integral three-slot Picatinny rail on the dust cover allows the addition of a weapon light or laser.
CIP proof marks, the Italian CAT 10519 code, and the EA-prefix serial confirm EAA’s U.S. import lineage. The large-frame design also accepts optional caliber-conversion kits from Tanfoglio, making this pistol a flexible platform for future expansion.
