The Echelon 4.5 F is Springfield Armory’s modular, duty-grade 9mm that took Guns & Ammo’s 2023 Handgun of the Year award. This full-size pistol features the serialized Central Operating Group chassis, a cold-hammer-forged 4.5-inch barrel, and the VIS direct-mount optics interface that accepts more than 30 red-dot footprints. The example offered here stands out with a Tyrant CNC flat red trigger shoe, a Mischief Machine extended magazine-release button, and a Rook Precision guide rod—all professionally installed—while retaining its factory Melonite-finished slide, night sights, and ambidextrous controls.

A cold-hammer-forged, 1:10-twist barrel delivers long service life and tight tolerances, while the Melonite-treated slide offers forward and rear serrations for confident manipulation in any condition.
The VIS optic interface cuts out adapter plates by using self-indexing recoil pins and supplied mounting screws, giving you a lower, more secure fit for over 30 popular red-dot footprints.
Factory tritium/luminescent night sights provide a bright front focus and a tactical-rack U-notch rear for immediate alignment in low light. Fully ambidextrous slide-stop levers and a reversible extended magazine release make the Echelon truly left- or right-hand friendly.
Custom upgrades push performance further: the Tyrant CNC flat-faced trigger shortens reach and offers a crisp break, the Mischief Machine extended magazine release speeds reloads, and the Rook Precision guide rod adds weight up front for flatter tracking.
