This RFB uses a short-stroke gas piston that vents carbon forward, keeping the action cleaner during extended strings of fire. The adjustable gas regulator lets you tune the rifle to different loads or suppressed use, adding flexibility in the field.
The forward-ejection chute directs spent cases away from the shooter, making the RFB truly ambidextrous and ideal for right- or left-handed users. Combined with a reversible charging handle, ambidextrous safety selector, and paddle-style magazine release, every primary control is accessible from either side.
An 18-inch 4140 steel barrel is chrome-lined for corrosion resistance and threaded 5/8×24 to accept flash hiders, brakes, or suppressor mounts. The 1:11.25-inch right-hand twist stabilizes standard 147–175-grain 7.62 NATO projectiles.
The glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame and handguard keep weight manageable while retaining strength. Integrated QD sling sockets and a full-length Picatinny top rail provide mounting points for optics and accessories without additional adapters.
Accepting widely available metric FAL magazines, the RFB offers 20+1 rounds on tap in a package no longer than many 16-inch carbines, giving shooters battle-rifle firepower in a highly maneuverable form.
