The X7’s 22-inch chromoly steel barrel is button-rifled, free-floating, and finished with a recessed crown to preserve accuracy. Marlin backed this barrel with a one-MOA guarantee, giving hunters and target shooters confidence in its precision out of the box.
Marlin’s Pro-Fire trigger adjusts from 3 to 6 pounds, letting the shooter fine-tune pull weight without aftermarket parts. A two-position rocker safety sits directly behind the bolt handle for straightforward operation.
The black synthetic stock is pillar bedded for consistent receiver support and wears a Soft-Tech recoil pad. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, offering a comfortable fit for most shooters while keeping overall weight modest.
A blind internal magazine holds four rounds plus one in the chamber, maintaining a sleek profile and reducing overall weight. The included one-piece rail simplifies optic mounting, and the installed bipod provides immediate stability from the bench or field.
Produced in limited numbers before Marlin exited the bolt-action market, this Model X7 represents a brief chapter in the company’s history, blending proven Remington-era manufacturing with Marlin’s accuracy-focused design touches.
