Romarm/Cugir Draco 9S 9mm AKM-Pattern Pistol – Chrome-Lined 11.14" Barrel, Wood Furniture, Folding Brace
The Draco 9S combines classic Romanian AKM heritage with modern 9mm practicality. Built on a stamped-steel receiver and running a straight-blowback system, this pistol accepts CZ Scorpion-pattern magazines through a factory-installed mag-well block, locks open on the last round, and carries an 11.14" cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel threaded 1/2-28 RH. Upgrades include a PSA burnt-laminate wood lower handguard, perforated “cheese-grater” metal upper handguard, and an SB Tactical AKTF right-side-folding triangle brace, giving the gun a distinctive look and rapid deployability.

The stamped-steel receiver keeps weight manageable while retaining the sturdy feel expected from Romanian AKM builds. Century’s phosphate finish with paint over parkerizing provides robust corrosion resistance, and factory markings include “CENTURY ARMS GEORGIA, VT” along with “NOVA MODUL” import stamps.
A hinged dust cover with a welded Picatinny rail gives instant optics readiness without adding aftermarket mounts, and integral fore-end rails accommodate lights or accessories. Iron sights remain traditional: a protected post up front and tangent-style rear sight graduated for pistol-length ballistics.
The 1/2-28 RH threaded muzzle supports common 9mm suppressors or muzzle devices, while the chrome-lined bore and cold-hammer-forged barrel maximize service life. Straight-blowback operation, combined with the enlarged Scorpion magazine well and bolt-hold-open feature, offers reliable cycling and intuitive reloads.
