The Hellcat RDP (Rapid Defense Package) takes Springfield Armory’s micro-compact 9mm platform to a defensive-ready level with a factory-installed Hex Wasp red-dot, a 3.8-inch threaded barrel, and a self-indexing compensator that tames muzzle rise without adding bulk. Class-leading 13+1 capacity, co-witness tritium sights, and the Gen 2 flat-faced trigger round out a carry gun that ships ready for immediate use.

The RDP package begins with a hammer-forged, Melonite-finished 3.8-inch barrel threaded 1/2x28, allowing the included compensator or other muzzle devices to be installed without gunsmithing. The compensator is matched to the slide profile and self-indexes against the barrel shoulder for consistent alignment.
A factory-milled slide wears forward and rear cocking serrations plus an optics-ready cut that positions the Hex Wasp low enough for co-witness with the tritium/luminescent front and U-notch rear sights. The red-dot’s auto-adjust brightness and rugged IPX7 rating complement daily carry.
The black polymer frame uses Springfield’s Adaptive Grip Texture for secure purchase while remaining comfortable against clothing. A reversible magazine release supports both right- and left-handed shooters, and the Gen 2 flat trigger with integral blade safety provides a clean break.
Despite its micro-compact size, the Hellcat RDP maintains a 13+1 capacity using flush-fit double-stack magazines, giving the shooter service-pistol firepower in a package that conceals easily.
