Built on the proven twin-lug, top-eject action, the R92 cycles smoothly while keeping weight down to a handy size. The polished stainless barrel, receiver, and magazine tube resist rust and make field maintenance simple.
The 16" “Trapper” barrel shortens overall length to just 33", making this rifle easy to shoulder in dense brush or tight quarters. Despite its compact profile, the full-length magazine still holds eight rounds plus one in the chamber.
A straight-grip hardwood stock with a dark reddish stain provides classic aesthetics and a solid purchase. The matching hardwood forend keeps the rifle balanced, and the 13" length of pull fits a wide range of shooters.
Iron sights consist of a ramped blade front and semi-buckhorn rear, giving a clean sight picture for both rapid shots and precise aiming. A thumb-rotary manual safety and external hammer add familiar, intuitive controls.
