- Receiver-mounted polymer 8-shell side-saddle (installed)
- Clamp-on polymer 6-shell magazine-tube carrier (installed)
The Defender series combines Winchester’s smooth rotary-locking bolt with a shortened 18.5-inch barrel, delivering fast follow-up shots in a maneuverable package.
This shotgun accepts both 2.75-inch and 3-inch 12-gauge shells and feeds from a full-length tubular magazine for a 7+1 total capacity. The brass bead front sight offers a simple, durable aiming point on the cylinder-bore barrel.
A receiver-mounted eight-shell side-saddle and a six-shell magazine-tube carrier keep fourteen spare rounds immediately on board. To accommodate the side-saddle, the installed grooved wood fore-end has been trimmed for clearance; the original full-length walnut fore-end is included if the buyer prefers a factory profile.
The polished blued steel receiver is factory-drilled and tapped, allowing easy addition of scope bases or rail sections if optics are desired. Walnut furniture with cut diamond checkering and a rubber recoil pad round out the classic Winchester appearance.
