The 16-inch 416R stainless Trident barrel is fluted, nitrided, and threaded 1/2-28 to accept the factory-installed VF18 Vent-Forward muzzle brake. A 1:8 RH twist optimizes performance across common 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem bullet weights.
The slick-side billet upper carries a continuous Picatinny rail that lines up seamlessly with the RapidQD M-LOK handguard. Because the handguard attaches directly to the upper, the barrel remains truly free-floated for consistent point-of-impact.
Ergonomics are fully ambidextrous: mag release, safety selector, and extended charging handle all mirror controls for left- or right-hand use. The rifle ships with a mil-spec single-stage trigger and includes the original ambi safety lever in the box.
The six-position telescoping stock partners with a B5 Systems textured pistol grip to give a solid 11 in. length of pull. Combined with the lightweight receiver set, the result is a maneuverable platform well suited to carbine courses or lightweight defensive roles.
