17 Design & Manufacturing 17DM-15 AR Pistol, .300 AAC Blackout, 10" Barrel, Billet Receiver
This 17DM-15 AR pistol pairs a billet-machined 7075-T6 receiver set with a 10-inch .300 AAC Blackout barrel, creating a compact platform that still delivers full rifle capability. A BCM MCMR-10 free-float handguard, flat-face single-stage trigger, and threaded muzzle round out a build that is seldom seen today, as 17 Design & Manufacturing ceased operations in 2022. Serial prefix “21” suggests 2021 production, adding extra appeal for buyers looking to secure one of the last factory-built examples.

Overall Condition: Excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior use or handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Light handling wear is visible on the receivers, and a few minor surface scratches appear on the handguard.
What’s Included
- 17 Design & Manufacturing 17DM-15 AR pistol
- One 30-round aluminum USGI-pattern STANAG magazine
The billet lower receiver features a recessed stylized “17” logo, a threaded bolt-catch pin, and an upper-tensioning screw that tightens the fit between upper and lower—details rarely found on standard forged sets.
Chambered in .300 AAC Blackout, the 10-inch barrel is threaded 5/8x24, ready for common muzzle devices or suppressors. Direct-impingement operation keeps parts familiar and compatible with standard AR components.
A BCM MCMR-10 free-float aluminum handguard offers M-LOK slots along the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, plus a full-length numbered Picatinny rail on top for accessories.
The flat-face single-stage trigger provides a clean break, and the rubber over-mold pistol grip adds comfort. A foam-sleeved pistol-length buffer tube completes the compact package.
With the manufacturer no longer in business, factory-assembled 17DM firearms have become increasingly scarce, making this example a compelling find for shooters and collectors alike.
