What’s Included
- Charter Arms Undercover .38 Special revolver
The Undercover series pioneered the modern snub-nose by combining a slim five-shot cylinder with a solid, side-plate-free frame. This early Stratford example retains that original engineering, offering strength without unnecessary weight.
Its carbon-steel frame, barrel, and cylinder wear a deep blued finish that contrasts with the black synthetic combat-style grips. Finger grooves aid control, while the smooth-faced trigger and exposed spurred hammer support both double-action and single-action firing.
A serrated ramp front sight pairs with a square-notch rear sight milled into the top strap, giving a snag-free profile. The built-in hammer-block safety adds an extra layer of security when the revolver is at rest or carried concealed.
The 2-inch barrel features a partial under-lug that protects the ejector rod without adding bulk. Charter Arms later rated similar models for +P ammunition, reflecting the robust one-piece frame and three-point lock that keep the cylinder tightly aligned.
