Arsenal SLR-95 MB 7.62x39 Semi-Automatic AK-47 Rifle ― Bulgarian-Milled Receiver, Chrome-Lined 16" Barrel, Thumbhole Stock
The Arsenal SLR-95 MB stands out as one of the few factory-milled Bulgarian AKs imported into the United States during the mid-1990s. Built on a forged-and-milled receiver and chambered in 7.62x39, this rifle pairs rugged construction with a chrome-lined, threaded barrel capped by a factory-pinned three-port muzzle brake. Collectors value the SLR-95 MB for its limited import window, quality Circle-10 production, and classic thumbhole configuration that preserves the original military profile while meeting 1990s import requirements.

What’s Included
- Arsenal SLR-95 MB rifle
- 1 Bulgarian Circle-10 polymer 40-round “waffle” magazine
- 4 surplus steel 30-round AKM magazines
The heart of this rifle is its forged-and-milled receiver—stronger and more rigid than standard stamped variants—marked with the Circle-10 emblem and matching-serial dust cover. Import marks read “D.I.G. VA., BCH. VA. Made in BULGARIA,” confirming its mid-90s origins.
The 16-inch chrome-lined barrel is threaded 14×1 LH and fitted with a factory-pinned three-port muzzle brake. A 90-degree gas block and non-vented gas tube complete the classic Bulgarian front-end configuration while maximizing reliability.
Factory black polymer furniture includes a thumbhole stock with a 13.5-inch length of pull and matching polymer handguards. The buttplate bears the Circle-10 stamp, and the rifle omits a side-mounted optics rail—true to its original import specification.
Sights are the traditional AK setup: a hooded front post and a tangent leaf rear graduated from 1–8 with an additional battle “n” notch. Combined with the milled receiver’s inherent stability, they deliver consistent point-of-aim duty performance.
Rounding out the package are five magazines—one desirable Bulgarian Circle-10 polymer 40-round example and four surplus steel 30-round AKM mags—giving the buyer immediate range readiness and spare capacity.
