Winchester’s Active Valve self-regulating gas piston balances speed with recoil mitigation, cycling everything from light 2 3/4-inch loads up to hard-hitting 3 1/2-inch magnums without adjustment. The oversized charging handle and bolt-release controls make operation easy while wearing gloves.
The 28-inch steel barrel is back-bored to .742 inch and chrome-lined for durability and consistent shot patterns. A ventilated rib capped with a red fiber-optic front bead keeps the sight picture clear in low light.
