The two-lug B-14 action follows the Remington 700 footprint, allowing easy upgrades with a wide range of aftermarket triggers and bottom metals. Its coned bolt nose and sliding-plate extractor promote smooth, reliable cycling.
A 24-inch, #6 heavy-taper 4140 chromoly barrel is threaded for suppressors or brakes and protected by a Graphite-Black Cerakote finish. The 1:9 twist rate is optimized for long, heavy .22-caliber projectiles, extending the effective range of the .22-250 Rem.
The grey polymer stock is reinforced with fiberglass and built around a 7075-T6 aluminum mini-chassis. An adjustable comb, 13.5-inch length of pull, QD sling cups, and swivel studs let the shooter tailor fit and carry options.
A single-stage adjustable trigger leaves the factory at approximately 3 lb, and a two-position safety provides straightforward operation. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and a Picatinny rail is installed for quick optic mounting.
Recognized with Outdoor Life’s 2017 Editor’s Choice award, the B-14 HMR delivers match-grade precision in a platform proven tough enough for field use at 9.7 lb overall.
