This early-production “ST”-prefix Smith & Wesson M&P15 combines proven AR-15 reliability with factory Optics Ready flexibility and several durability upgrades. A chrome-lined, Armornite-treated 16" barrel, 7075-T6 forged receivers, and an aftermarket over-molded rubber grip give this carbine practical performance straight out of the case. Excellent overall condition and three included PMAGs make it ready for range time or duty use.

Built on a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set, this M&P15 uses Smith & Wesson’s in-house low-profile gas block with a numbered rail segment, giving shooters a stable platform for front sights or accessories without the weight of a traditional A-frame post.
The 16" 4140 CM steel barrel is chrome-lined for corrosion resistance, Armornite-treated for added hardness, and threaded 1/2x28 to accept standard muzzle devices. A 1:9" right-hand twist stabilizes the broad 55–77 grain bullet range common to 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington loads.
An aftermarket Hogue-style rubber pistol grip with finger grooves replaces the factory unit, offering a secure, over-molded surface in wet or gloved conditions. The carbine-length polymer handguard keeps weight low while shielding the shooter’s hand from heat.
The six-position collapsible stock lets users adjust length of pull from a compact 10" for transport or body armor use to a full extension for traditional shoulder firing. A standard two-position safety and direct-impingement operating system maintain familiar AR-15 controls and maintenance procedures.
