Beretta M9A4 Centurion 9mm FDE – Compact 18+1 DA/SA Pistol with Threaded Barrel & Curved Trigger
The Beretta M9A4 Centurion blends the battle-proven 90-Series pedigree with modern features in a compact, optics-ready package. Built in Gallatin, Tennessee, this 9mm combines a 4.8-inch cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with a full-size grip, giving shooters the controllability of a service pistol in an easy-to-carry profile. Flat Dark Earth Cerakote over 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and a matching slide deliver uniform corrosion resistance, while the factory-installed curved short-reset trigger tightens split times. A 1/2-28 threaded muzzle, tritium night sights, and Vertec G10 grips round out a feature set that speaks directly to defensive shooters and collectors alike.

Beretta’s Centurion profile pairs the compact 4.8-inch threaded barrel with a full-size frame, providing 18+1 capacity without the length of a traditional M9A4 slide. The carbon-steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and finished with a 1/2-28 UNEF thread, ready for suppressors or compensators right out of the box.
The slide wears a durable Flat Dark Earth Cerakote, front and rear cocking serrations, and a factory optic cut that accepts multiple plate patterns. Tritium 3-dot sights are dovetailed front and rear for low-light clarity and straightforward replacement.
A Vertec-style straight backstrap frame uses thin black G10 panels for a slimmer grip circumference. The beveled magazine well speeds reloads, while a lanyard loop and three-slot MIL-STD-1913 rail expand carry or duty versatility.
Inside, the curved skeletonized trigger delivers a crisp break and short reset in both double-action/single-action modes. A slide-mounted safety/decocker, firing-pin block, and half-cock hammer notch provide layered mechanical protection.
Manufactured in the United States and descending from the venerable M9 service pistol, this M9A4 Centurion offers modern performance with the reliability that has defined Beretta’s 90-Series lineage for decades.
