The .17 WSM pushes light bullets well over 3,000 fps, and the B.Mag was specifically engineered around that pressure curve. A rear-locking, cock-on-close bolt keeps the action compact while maintaining strength for the rimfire magnum round.
The 22" carbon-steel barrel is headspaced by threading directly into the receiver, promoting consistent accuracy. Its sporter contour trims weight without sacrificing rigidity, and the matte-blued finish blends seamlessly with the receiver.
Savage’s AccuTrigger lets the shooter fine-tune pull weight at home while a blade-in-trigger safety and two-position tang safety add layered protection. Length of pull measures 13.88", fitting most shooters comfortably right out of the box.
The black polymer stock features a raised comb for proper scope alignment, chevron-style texturing for a positive grip, and a soft rubber recoil pad. Sling-swivel studs come installed for easy carry in the field.
For buyers tracking product history, Savage issued a 2015 recall on certain B.Mag bolt handles; serial verification is straightforward through Savage customer service.
