The CVA Optima V2 pairs a 26" nitride-treated 416 stainless steel barrel with an ambidextrous Realtree Excape synthetic stock, delivering a lightweight 6.65 lb muzzleloader built for modern inline performance. Its break-action design, tool-less Quick-Release Breech Plug, and PalmSaver ramrod make loading and cleaning fast, while the 209 primer ignition system provides reliable spark. With a full-size 14" length of pull and Monte Carlo comb, this Optima V2 offers comfortable handling for right- or left-handed shooters.

The break-open action is actuated by a trigger-guard lever, granting quick access to the breech. CVA’s Quick-Release Breech Plug removes without tools, simplifying cleaning in the field or at the bench.
An ambidextrous synthetic stock keeps weight down while adding durability. The Monte Carlo comb positions the shooter’s eye naturally, and the CrushZone recoil pad helps tame felt recoil from stout hunting loads.
