The MAC-5 is chambered in 9mm Luger and uses a proven roller-delayed blowback action, giving shooters a smoother recoil impulse than typical straight-blowback pistols. Its stamped-steel receiver is finished in a black phosphate coating with paint over parkerized treatment for added corrosion resistance.
The 8.9" C45 carbon-steel barrel is both tri-lugged and threaded 1/2-28, ready for common muzzle devices or suppressors. A steel HK-pattern three-prong flash hider ships installed.
Sights are true to the platform: a hooded protected front post pairs with a four-position rotary rear diopter, allowing fast target acquisition and precise elevation settings. A slim polymer handguard keeps the front end lightweight and comfortable.
Controls are fully ambidextrous. The three-position pictogram selector (S-F-E) and paddle magazine release make operation intuitive for left- or right-handed shooters. A polymer end-cap with sling loop rounds out the pistol configuration.
