The 20-inch alloy-steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged for uniform rifling and durability, then spiral-fluted to shed weight and enhance cooling. A factory-installed muzzle brake is threaded 5/8-24 for easy brake or suppressor swaps.
Ruger’s patented Power-Bedding system secures the action and free-floats the barrel for repeatable accuracy. Paired with the three-lug, full-diameter bolt and oversized bolt knob, operation is smooth and consistently locks up at a 70-degree angle.
The gray splatter polymer stock offers an adjustable length-of-pull and a modular cheek riser for proper eye alignment with optics. A soft recoil pad keeps shooting comfortable during extended sessions.
Ruger’s Marksman Adjustable trigger lets the shooter set pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds without removing the action. The three-position tang safety locks the bolt when engaged yet allows safe unloading in the middle position.
An integral Picatinny scope rail eliminates the need for separate bases, providing a solid platform for the optic of your choice. The rifle feeds from an AICS-pattern detachable magazine, giving shooters widespread magazine compatibility.
