Chambered in .375 Ruger, the Brush Hunter delivers magnum-level energy suitable for large or dangerous game while retaining standard-length action dimensions. The floating bolt head system promotes optimal headspacing, and the well-known Savage barrel nut design eases future caliber conversions.
The 20-inch stainless barrel wears a matte finish to cut glare and is threaded 5/8-24, complete with thread protector, for brake or suppressor installation. Medium-contour geometry balances recoil management with field carry weight.
The synthetic AccuFit stock features textured grip and forend panels, a thick recoil pad, and integral sling-swivel studs. Included spacers allow 1/4-inch LOP adjustments between 13 and 14 inches; this rifle is set at 13.5 inches from the factory.
Savage’s user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks cleanly and safely thanks to its inner blade design. A three-position tang safety lets the shooter load and unload while on safe, and the oversize round bolt knob gives positive purchase when cycling the action under stress or with gloved hands.
