Canik METE MC9 Prime MO4 9mm Luger Micro-Compact Pistol | 17+1 rd, Ported Barrel & Mounted Mecanik MO4 Red Dot
The METE MC9 Prime MO4 packs full-size pistol performance into a micro-compact footprint. Canik pairs a fluted, ported 3.64-inch 4140 steel barrel with an integrally compensated, optic-cut slide to keep muzzle rise flat and follow-up shots fast. A factory-installed Mecanik MO4 enclosed-emitter red-dot sight co-witnesses with tritium night sights and delivers a 3 MOA aiming point powered by both battery and solar panel. Despite its 23-ounce carry weight, the MC9 carries 17+1 rounds of 9mm, giving you duty-grade capacity in an easily concealed package.

Designed around Canik’s METE series, the MC9 Prime MO4 uses a glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame with wrap-around stippling for a secure grip. The low-profile mag-well speeds reloads without adding bulk, while interchangeable backstraps let you tailor the grip circumference.
The slide’s lightening ports and expansion-chamber cuts work with the barrel’s ports to redirect gas upward, noticeably reducing muzzle climb. Front and rear grasping serrations offer positive purchase when racking from any angle, and an RMS-footprint optic cut sits forward of the rear sight for optimal dot height.
The Mecanik MO4 red dot features auto-adjusting brightness, a 50,000-hour battery life, and solar assist for extended runtime. Its enclosed-emitter design protects the lens from debris and moisture, and the sight height allows a clear co-witness with the factory tritium night sights.
Controls are fully ambidextrous: the slide stop is mirrored on both sides, and the magazine release is reversible with vertical serrations. A flat-faced trigger with bladed safety and 90-degree break geometry promotes a straight-to-the-rear pull for consistent shot placement.
Despite its micro-size, the pistol carries 17+1 rounds. The forged 4140 barrel wears a durable black-nitride finish for corrosion resistance, matching the slide’s nitride treatment for a uniform, low-reflective appearance.
