What’s Included
- Dan Wesson DWX instruction manual
- DWX-branded padded nylon pistol rug
- (2) 19-round factory steel magazines with aluminum basepads
The DWX was first announced in 2019, but production delays pushed its release to 2023, making early X23 serial-block pistols like this one especially noteworthy for collectors tracking first-run examples.
A link-less, bushing-less 4.95" match-grade stainless barrel streamlines takedown while maintaining tight lock-up for accuracy. The flat-face skeletonized trigger delivers a short, crisp break typical of tuned 1911s.
The slide is cut for popular mini-red-dot footprints and wears a durable black DLC finish with a flat-top rib, longitudinal serrations, and deep front and rear cocking serrations. A green fiber-optic front sight and fully adjustable serrated rear sight provide a clear, fast sight picture when no optic is mounted.
The full-size stainless frame is also DLC-coated and features an accessory rail, reversible magazine release, and ambidextrous manual thumb safeties. Checkered aluminum grip panels offer a secure, low-profile hold.
Compatibility with CZ P-10 F and P-09 double-stack magazines, zero MIM parts, and an MSRP of $2,499 underscore the DWX’s focus on performance and build quality.
