This U.S-made Century Arms VSKA blends the strength of S7 tool-steel internals with classic hardwood style and thoughtful upgrades. A PSA “dong” lower handguard, perforated “cheese-grater” upper, and US Palm grip give it a distinctive look and modern ergonomics while keeping the rifle 922(r) compliant. Built on a stamped 1 mm steel receiver with a 4150 chrome-moly barrel, it delivers the durability AK buyers expect in a package ready for range time or collection.

Specific Condition Notes: A large gouge is present on the backside of the front grip, and the bottom of the buttstock shows noticeable dents and gouges.

The VSKA line is known for its forged S7 tool-steel bolt carrier, trunnion, and feed ramp, giving this rifle impact resistance that exceeds traditional 4140 components. Coupled with a manganese-phosphate finish, the metal surfaces stand up well to hard use and weather.
A 16.25" 4150 chrome-moly, 1:10 RH twist barrel is threaded for standard 14×1 LH muzzle devices and treated with a phosphate finish for additional protection. The long-stroke gas piston action delivers the familiar reliability of the AKM platform.
Furniture on this example is fully upgraded: the PSA wooden “dong” lower handguard offers a natural forward grip point, the ventilated steel upper handguard aids cooling, and the US Palm pistol grip provides modern ergonomics. Original maple handguards and factory grip are included for those who prefer the classic look.
An enhanced safety lever with a bolt hold-open notch speeds magazine changes, while the RAK-1 single-stage trigger offers a clean break. Traditional iron sights remain—an adjustable front post and tangent rear graduated to 800 meters. This rifle was produced without a side-mount optics rail, consistent with certain VSKA batches.
