This LC Carbine is built on an aluminum-alloy receiver finished in matte black hard-coat anodizing, matching its free-float octagonal M-LOK handguard. The handguard integrates QD sling sockets and aligns with a full-length Picatinny top rail for seamless optic or accessory mounting.
The 16.25-inch alloy-steel barrel is threaded .578"-28 to accept common .45-caliber muzzle devices or suppressors. Bolt-over-barrel geometry lowers the bore axis, helping reduce muzzle rise during rapid fire.
Ruger equips the platform with fully reversible and ambidextrous controls: a non-reciprocating side charging handle, ambidextrous manual thumb safety and bolt release, and a reversible magazine release. The carbine is also rated for +P ammunition, expanding ammunition choices.
The synthetic stock folds to the right side for transport, telescopes through four length-of-pull positions, and wears a rubber recoil pad for added comfort.
