What’s Included
- High Standard Sentinel R-107 Deluxe revolver
The R-107 Deluxe retains the original Sentinel’s double-action/single-action mechanism while adding upgraded checkered walnut grips and a deep blued finish that contrasts nicely with the alloy frame.
Designer Harry Sefried—later known for Ruger’s Security-Six—engineered the Sentinel’s distinctive nine-hole extractor ratchet, ensuring reliable ejection across its full nine-shot cylinder.
The carbon-steel 4" barrel and cylinder provide durability, while the alloy frame keeps overall weight to roughly 23 ounces, making this revolver easy to carry and quick to point.
Fixed iron sights consist of a half-moon blade front and a square-notch top-strap rear, delivering a simple, snag-free sight picture suited to plinking or small-game work.
As the closing chapter of High Standard’s R-series before the company switched to steel-frame models, the R-107 Deluxe holds particular interest for collectors seeking a complete Sentinel lineup.
