The heart of this pistol is Daniel Defense’s 10.3-inch CMV steel barrel. It is cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and threaded 1/2-28, yielding long service life and compatibility with common muzzle devices.
The MK18 RIS II free-float quad rail (NSN 1005-01-548-1385) provides a durable 6061-T6 aluminum interface for lights, lasers, and other rail-mounted accessories. Its lineage ties directly to the U.S. Navy’s CQBR program, making this pistol instantly recognizable to enthusiasts.
A LAW Tactical Gen-3M folding adapter mates the forged receiver extension to the polymer brace, allowing the entire assembly to fold for compact storage without altering the direct-impingement operating system.
Ambidextrous controls—safety selector and charging handle—enhance usability for both right- and left-handed shooters. Selector markings are the Daniel Defense pictograph SAFE/SEMI icons.
The lower and upper receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in a Type III hard-coat anodized matte black, matching the pistol’s subdued, duty-ready appearance.
