Built on a stamped steel receiver with six rivets per side, this rifle incorporates a forged front trunnion, bolt, and bolt carrier for long-term durability. The receiver wears a black oxide finish and features a side dovetail rail for mounting AK-pattern optics or accessories.
The 16.25-inch barrel is cut from 4150 chrome-moly vanadium steel, nitride-treated for corrosion resistance, and threaded 14×1 LH with a bayonet lug and cleaning rod in place. Choosing nitride over traditional chrome lining preserves bore accuracy while delivering comparable protection.
Laminated hardwood furniture—handguards and fixed buttstock—adds classic appeal with a deep red gloss, while a polymer checkered pistol grip offers modern control. Length of pull measures a compact 12.5 inches.
Function controls include an extended paddle-style magazine release for fast swaps and a selector lever that doubles as a bolt-hold-open notch. Standard AK iron sights consist of a hooded front post and a tangent rear sight graduated from 100 to 1,000 meters.
