Its break-open, single-action design is paired with a rebounding, exposed hammer and a cross-bolt safety—features that add both security and ease of operation. An automatic extractor lifts spent cases for fast reloads, and the removable trigger guard can be taken off if you prefer the classic derringer profile.
The Roughneck is factory-fitted with black rubber grips bearing the Lone-Star emblem. These grips provide a secure hold and help tame the stout recoil of .45 ACP in a 19-ounce platform.
An integral front blade and rear groove milled along the barrel rib give the pistol simple, snag-free sights that align quickly at defensive ranges.
