The rifle’s forged 7075-T6 receivers wear a bright electroless nickel finish that matches the nickel medallion set into the A2 pistol grip, creating a uniform commemorative look. Factory engraving includes floral scrollwork, a laurel wreath with five stars, and the motto “NOT SELF BUT COUNTRY – 13 OCT 1775,” paying tribute to the U.S. Navy’s founding.
A 20-inch heavy barrel with a 1:7 right-hand twist delivers the accuracy expected from Colt’s Match HBAR line. The barrel is unthreaded and lacks both flash hider and bayonet lug, reflecting its 1994 post-ban configuration while keeping true to service rifle geometry.
