What’s Included
- .22 WMR spare cylinder marked ".22 MAG"
- Colt instruction manual
This factory convertible revolver ships with two fitted six-shot cylinders, allowing quick swaps between inexpensive .22 LR practice and harder-hitting .22 WMR field loads.
The flat-top frame is finished in vivid color-case hardening, a signature detail that distinguishes the New Frontier line from standard Scouts. Matching blued steel barrel and cylinder maintain Colt’s traditional two-tone appearance.
Early G-Series production omits the later cross-bolt safety, preserving the original Colt single-action manual of arms prized by purists. A grooved trigger and spur hammer complete the classic handling package.
Sighting is handled by a ramped front blade paired with a fully adjustable square-notch rear sight, giving the shooter precise control over windage and elevation—an uncommon feature on rimfire revolvers of this era.
Black one-piece checkered plastic grips bearing the raised American Eagle emblem provide a secure hold while honoring the revolver’s heritage.
